What is image licensing?
A licence is permission to use a photograph in a defined way: where it appears, for how long, and in which territory. You are not buying the photograph itself. The photographer keeps the copyright, and you buy the right to use the image for an agreed purpose.
How do I buy a licence?
Tell us which photograph you have in mind and where you would like to use it. We prepare terms for that specific use and send them to you. Start with the contact form.
What if I have specific requirements?
Say so and we will be happy to accommodate them. Every licence here is written for the use rather than picked from a fixed list, so unusual formats, territories, durations or exclusivity are all things we can work with.
How can my images be in the archive?
Get in touch with a link to your work. Our editor will take a look and get back to you.
